Google’s efforts to provide an excellent user experience have come a long way, and the search engine has always proven how it goes the extra mile just to serve us answers to our queries.
To further deliver optimum user experience, Google is launching a new way to search the web using a combination of text and images at the same time.
This new search method is designed for searches that aren’t direct as a single image or a text phrase.
With the multisearch in Google Lens, you can ask Google queries about what the object is in front of you—all thanks to Google’s advances in AI, it’s easier to find stuff without the exact details (e.g., brand, model).
How to Use Google Multisearch
First, make sure you have the latest version of your Google app, and then follow the steps below:
• Open the Google app on your mobile phone
• Tap the Lens camera icon in the search box
• Upload a saved image or take a photo of the item you see
• Swipe up and tap the “+Add to your search” button to add text
You can key in a color, brand, or any visual attribute or even ask Google a question about the object to refine search results.
Surely, Google has made it easier to understand the world in natural and intuitive ways. With a few taps and clicks, you can have answers to your questions instantly. What could be next in Google’s advances in AI?
